Welcome

foothills
of the
Ozarks!
In March
of 2008,
God
blessed
my wife
(Pat)
and me
as He
led me
to
become
the
Pastor
of
Fairfield
Bay
Baptist
Church.
Pat and
I came
to
Fairfield
Bay
after 21
years at
First
Baptist
Church
of
Mayflower,
Arkansas.
We have
found
this to
be a
wonderful
Church
Family,
a great
place to
worship
and
serve,
and a
delightful
community
in which
to
live.
As you
view our
Web
Site, I
hope you
will
sense
how
appropriately
I have
described
Fairfield
Bay
Baptist
Church
and the
Community
of
Fairfield
Bay.
Feel

Don
Coleman, Minister of Music
My name is
Don Coleman. I have the privilege
and blessing of being the Minister
of Music at Fairfield Bay Baptist
Church. I began my ministry here on
October 27th of this year. My wife,
Gloria and I have lived in the Bay
for over 5 years. After retiring
from the full-time music ministry of
over 40 years we have served several
churches in Arkansas, Missouri and
Mississippi in interim and part-time
positions. Now we are just a few
blocks from our church and we are
enjoying our work with some of God's
very special saints.
I received
my bachelor's degree in music
education from Central Missouri
State University and have done
graduate studies there as well.
After a number of years in the music
ministry I taught public school
music for 7 years while continuing
my ministry on a part-time basis
but, the Lord called me back to
serve full-time until retirement in
1997.
We are so
thankful for the special privilege
of directing a very fine choir and
leading our people as we worship the
Lord. God is so good!

Sunday School at 9:30 am every
Sunday morning, with classes for all
ages. You will experience great
teachers sharing the exciting news
